The design of this original chromolitho was made by Thom Posthuma (1893-1941) in 1920 and was never executed for unknown reasons. As an ode to his father, his son, Thomas Posthuma, Thomas Posthuma, who also became a designer, recreated this design in poster format on stone in 2006.
The poster was produced and published by the Dutch Museum of Lithography, in collaboration with the former Forrer Steendrukkerij in Weesp. The printing stones have been preserved and are part of the collection of the Dutch Museum of Lithography.
