Opening exhibition: The Toorop Line

We look back on a beautiful and well-attended opening of the exhibition ‘The Toorop Line’ last Friday evening, March 3. After an introduction by museum director Maarten Kentgens, curator Frédèrique van Duppen gave a short lecture about this important family of artists and how they all used the lithographic technique in their own and unique way.

The exhibition was then festively opened by Mayor Anton Ederveen of the Municipality of Valkenswaard. He was presented with the first copy of the exhibition catalog by museum director Maarten Kentgens and the exhibition was officially opened with the cutting of the line.
