Festive opening of the exhibition ‘Louis Favre: a world full of color’

We look back on a beautiful and well-attended opening of the new Louis Favre exhibition: a world full of color. After a word of welcome by museum director Maarten Kentgens, interesting background information was given by Prof. dr. Dr. Peter Rietbergen, emeritus professor of cultural history, and Gonnie Kügel, initiator and collector.

The official opening was performed on behalf of the Rabobank Coörporatiefonds by Mr. Piet van Güluck  cutting a colorful cake in the colors of Louis Favre. After our curator Frédèrique van Duppen closed the doors of the exhibition around Toorop on July 10, she opened the doors of the new exhibition ‘Louis Favre: a world full of color‘ to the public again today at 1 pm.
